About The Position
Shamin Hotels is seeking a seasonal server for lunch and dinner service at the Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront. This is a tipped position with a base rate of $6.00/hour plus tips, ensuring total compensation meets or exceeds Virginia's minimum wage of $12.77/hour. The role involves providing attentive, friendly food and beverage service, taking orders, delivering items, processing payments, and maintaining the service area. The position requires adherence to food-safety and responsible-alcohol-service standards. The schedule is seasonal through September 30, with shifts typically from 2:00 PM to midnight, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- Must be 18 or older (position serves alcohol)
- Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand and move throughout an extended shift
Nice To Haves
- Prior serving experience preferred
- Previous experience as a server in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
