About The Position

As a Server in Spectrum Retirement Communities’ community restaurant, you help create an excellent dining experience, build relationships with residents, and provide the service guests expect in a restaurant. The schedule is full-time, with days and hours varying; evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required. The role is in the Food & Beverage department and is paid hourly.

Requirements

• Demonstrate compassion for residents, eagerness to learn, and a positive demeanor.
• If under age 18, provide proper schoolwork authorization if applicable.
• Hold a Food Handler’s Card or be willing to obtain one facilitated by Spectrum, as required by state and/or county regulations.
• Demonstrate strong customer service presentation.

Responsibilities

• Direct residents to their tables, present menus, suggest dishes, and assist with drink selection.
• Communicate specific resident orders using the point-of-sale system.
• Complete dining room opening and closing duties established by the community.
