About The Position

PARC Retirement Living is seeking a Server for Cristalina PARC, a new independent senior-living community in Kelowna. As a Dining Room Server, you will be a core member of the Food and Beverage team, responsible for creating an incredible dining experience for residents and guests. This role involves serving meals with attention to presentation, following food-handling procedures, accommodating dietary needs, providing room service, and maintaining the dining room environment. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and an understanding of the needs of seniors.

Requirements

Similar restaurant or hotel serving experience.
Food Safe I certification.
Serving it Right certification.
WHMIS certification.
Excellent communication in English.
Customer service skills.
Ability to build relationships.
Understanding and respect for the needs of seniors, their families and the professionals engaged in their care.
Criminal Record Check.
TB test within the first month of employment.

Responsibilities

Serve each meal with an eye for presentation, following proper food-handling procedures.
