About The Position
Marriott Syracuse Downtown seeks a Part Time Server in Shaughnessy's Pub to greet and serve guests according to standards. The role involves taking and serving guest orders promptly, performing set-up and side work, answering guest questions about the menu, checking food before serving, and performing other job-related duties as assigned. The ideal candidate has a self-starting personality, an even disposition, maintains a professional appearance and manner, communicates well with guests, is willing to help co-workers, and understands that every associate is a guest relations ambassador.

Responsibilities
- Take and serve guest orders promptly and according to service manual.
- Do all necessary set-up and side work as assigned.
- Answer any guest questions about the menu.
- Check food before serving it to guest to ascertain that appearance, temperature and portions are correct.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
