About The Position
The Server is responsible for delivering an outstanding dining experience by providing prompt, friendly, and efficient food and beverage service. This role creates a welcoming environment for guests, ensures accuracy in orders and transactions, and contributes to overall guest satisfaction and revenue growth through attentive service and suggestive selling.
Requirements
- Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Experience with POS systems preferred
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Present menus, answer questions, and make food and beverage recommendations
- Accurately take guest orders and enter them into the POS system
- Deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve concerns quickly
- Process payments accurately and follow all cash handling procedures
- Upsell menu items, specials, and promotions to enhance the guest experience and drive sales
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service areas, and stations
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines
- Support team members and assist with side work and opening/closing duties
