About The Position

VOX Kitchen at South Coast Plaza is seeking friendly, dependable, and guest-focused Servers to join our Front of House team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy creating welcoming dining experiences, thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment, and are committed to providing attentive and professional service. As a Server, you will be responsible for guiding guests through their dining experience, accurately taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and working closely with the team to ensure each guest receives excellent service.

Requirements

Previous server or restaurant customer service experience preferred.
Strong communication and guest service skills.
Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays, dishes, and restaurant supplies as needed.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Valid California Food Handler Card required, or willingness to obtain one upon hire. Paid certification will be provided for candidates who do not currently hold a valid card.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive service.
Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
Provide menu knowledge and answer guest questions regarding ingredients and offerings.
Deliver food and beverages efficiently and professionally.
Monitor guest needs throughout the dining experience and respond promptly to requests.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned tables and service areas.
Assist with opening, closing, side work, and restocking duties.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, management, and other team members.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines.
