About The Position
Brothers of Mercy is seeking positive, dependable, and caring individuals to join their team as Dining Room Servers. The servers are responsible for ensuring residents have an enjoyable dining experience by providing quality customer service, using proper serving methods, and following all safety and sanitary procedures. This role is part of the Brothers of Mercy Continuum of Care, an all-inclusive, relaxed atmosphere, 65+ Independent Living Community.
Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years of Age
Responsibilities
- Meet with the kitchen staff and Director daily, prior to meal service, to discuss and familiarize self with the menu and daily menu specials.
- Perform assigned food preparation duties. Ex.-Brewing Coffee, Pouring Juices
- Use correct serving techniques-serve from right and clear from the left.
- Clear and wash tables after resident(s) are finished with their meal using proper clearing and washing procedures.
- Prepare tables for the next meal service.
- Maintain a clean work and dining area at all times.
- General cleaning assignments posted in the kitchen.
