About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at Wellington located at 1051 Kent St, Liberty, MO 64068. This is a Full-Time position. The Server role involves being a welcoming host to residents, preparing the dining area for service, maintaining cleanliness, and observing residents' dietary habits and appetite changes. The ideal candidate will be at least sixteen (16) years of age, possess strong English communication skills (8th-grade proficiency), have a positive and energetic attitude, and be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The role also requires assisting residents with mobility and ensuring a safe environment. Criminal clearance is required.
Requirements
- At least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Must be active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for meals, and roll silverware.
- Bus tables and sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding dietary habits, appetite changes, or resident absences from meals.
