About The Position

Forefront is hiring a full-time Server to support culinary and dining services in a healthcare setting. The role helps maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment and supports residents’ healing and well-being. The Server sets up dining areas and meal trays, follows food safety guidelines and residents’ dietary restrictions, assists with food preparation and service, delivers meal carts, and maintains kitchen sanitation. This is an hourly position with expected hours including days, evenings, some weekends, and some holidays. The pay rate is $14.00 per hour. Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Basic food preparation knowledge.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety practices.

• One year of food service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas and trays for meal services while following food safety guidelines and residents’ dietary restrictions.
• Assist the cook or supervisor with food preparation and service, following specific procedures, guidelines, and regulations.
• Deliver residents’ meal carts and set and clean assigned dining areas.
• Record refrigerator temperatures accurately; clean and stock refrigerators as needed.
• Wash and store dishes and maintain kitchen sanitation.
• Follow applicable federal, state, and community rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Comply with facility and departmental policies, including those concerning human resources, ethics and business conduct, health and safety, compliance, patient rights, confidentiality, HIPAA, and accrediting agency standards.
• Attend department meetings as required.
• Take responsibility for personal and professional growth and any required certifications or licenses, if applicable.
• Complete mandatory annual training and competencies.
