The position requires performing the following essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation. The Server is responsible for the service of food and/or beverage to guests, including order taking and delivery, in accordance with Hilton Brand Standards and AAA Standards. This role demands a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely, and professional approach to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction. The Server will also perform general cleaning tasks, assist with clearing and resetting tables, perform side work, answer telephones, take room service orders, handle special guest requests, and greet and seat guests according to Hilton guidelines. A key aspect of the role is to be directly responsible for delivering service to guests after seating, warmly welcoming them within 30 seconds to 1 minute, taking, placing, delivering, and serving food and beverage orders, ensuring quality of ingredients, preparation, presentation, and correct temperature of food. The Server must also ensure time standards are met, employ appropriate selling skills, and demonstrate an attitude of friendly hospitality. Additionally, the Server must attend required meetings, assimilate into the Hilton Family Pride/Care culture, and maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance. The hospitality business operates seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day, and a hospitable service atmosphere must be projected at all times.
