Server 4pm-7:30pm $15-21 (Part Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join their team at Vitalia Montrose in Copley, OH. This part-time role involves greeting residents, preparing tables and meals, bussing tables, sweeping floors, and observing residents' dietary habits and appetite changes. The ideal candidate will have a positive and energetic attitude, be able to communicate effectively in English, and be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. This position also requires assisting residents with mobility and ensuring a safe and welcoming dining environment.
Requirements
- At least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Active; requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware.
- Bus tables and sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits, changes in appetite, or resident absences from meals.
