About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join their team at Fremont located at 1520 E. Bates, Springfield, MO 65804. This is a Full-Time position. The role involves greeting residents, fostering a welcoming environment, preparing for meal services, maintaining cleanliness, and observing residents' dietary habits and appetite changes. The ideal candidate will be at least sixteen years of age, able to communicate effectively in English, possess a positive and energetic attitude, and be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The role also requires assisting residents with mobility and ensuring a criminally cleared background.
Requirements
- At least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for meals, and roll silverware.
- Understand that successful meal service depends on preparation.
- Bus tables and sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, or resident absences from meals.
