About The Position
The Server welcomes guests and provides attentive service throughout their visit. The role takes and accurately relays orders to the kitchen, delivers food and beverages promptly, and processes cash, card, and digital payments efficiently. Servers use upselling skills and confident menu recommendations to help guests choose specials, combos, and popular items, and invite them to join the Denny’s Rewards Program by explaining its offers, birthday treats, and points toward free meals. The position also involves maintaining a clean, organized dining room and working collaboratively with front-of-house and back-of-house team members to ensure smooth service. Denny’s seeks someone with strong communication and attention to detail who can multitask in a fast-paced environment, engage guests, and handle basic math and cash transactions. Prior serving, front-of-house, or customer-service experience is preferred. Applicants must be at least 18 and available flexibly for nights, weekends, and holidays.
