The role involves delivering an unparalleled Guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun. It requires keeping immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance, and taking prompt corrective action where necessary or suggesting alternative courses of action. The role also focuses on creating a warm, fun atmosphere for Guests and Team Members, adhering to company’s sanitation procedures, and maintaining responsibility for personal bank and ensuring all financial transactions are accurate by operating credit card machines correctly, calculating and returning appropriate change and maintaining adequate cash and coin for making change. Additionally, it involves following alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated Guests, assessing Guest demeanor and identifying when behavior should be called to the attention of a Manager, greeting newly seated Guests’ in a friendly and timely manner, accurately taking Guests’ food and drink orders, and maintaining a thorough understanding of all menu items and being able to answer questions regarding food and drink items and their preparation. Orders are entered into Micros quickly and in proper sequence, using appropriate modifications and charges. Food is ensured to be properly garnished and delivered to designated table server’s own section, as well as other sections in the restaurant, as needed. The role requires working quickly and efficiently adhering to “Full hands in, Full hands out” philosophy, assisting in party set up and breakdown, bussing and resetting tables as needed, and assisting other Team Members as needed or as business dictates. The position is responsible for all sales on personal Micros keys and completing station side work at the beginning and end of their shift. Participation in all incentives and contests, driving sales and promoting the brand is expected. Portion guidelines are followed to ensure cost control, while maximizing the Guest experience. Ongoing Guest satisfaction is ensured by checking back after delivery of food, maintaining drink levels, removing clutter, pre‐bussing as necessary, and responding to Guest needs in a timely manner. The station is kept clean, and station tables are set up and taken down appropriately. A favorable working relationship with all other company Team Members is maintained to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate and help keep high morale, productivity and efficiency/effectiveness. The role requires skilled communication with Guests to generate enthusiasm about the D&B experience. It requires the ability to operate Micros, make changes, accurately conduct credit card transactions, and account for all monies at the end of each shift. The ability to read and communicate in English is necessary, as is listening to hear Guests’ orders and needs, and then communicating with Guests verbally and with other Team Members verbally via Micros system. Team Members must be dressed in proper dress code requirements, looking neat, clean and professional at all times. Must be at least 18 years of age.
