About The Position

In this role, you’ll play a major role in creating memorable moments for business travelers and families on vacation. After a busy day at work or play, our guests will be able to rest easily knowing that we will take care of the rest. We offer cleaner rooms than our competition and the extras don't cost extra. This makes our hotels stand out and keeps our guests coming back. As an essential team member at Drury Hotels, you will work on a team with other friendly customer focused team members completing daily duties such as vacuuming, changing linens and making our bathrooms shine. Drury Hotels are open 7 days a week and our busiest days are weekends (Saturdays and Sundays). Working Saturday and Sunday may be a requirement for this position. Requirements

  • No previous cleaning experience required.
  • Requires knowledge, skill and mental ability equivalent to completion of 2 years of high school.
  • Requires the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Requires thorough knowledge of cleaning procedures and cleaning supplies.
  • Requires the ability to work without direct supervision.
  • Possess a positive attitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Dedication to providing excellent customer service.
  • Requires the ability to walk and stand for the entire work shift.
  • Requires the ability to push, vacuum, reach, stretch, and bend in daily work activities.
  • Requires the ability to lift 25 – 35 pounds intermittently throughout the workday.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and positive environment for guests and team members.
  • Ensure exceptional and positive experiences for our diverse team members and guests.
  • Perform various hotel cleaning services to keep rooms clean according to established standards.
  • Visually inspect rooms to help identify maintenance needs.
  • Assist guests by providing linens, towels, amenities, or information when requested.
  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by providing friendly and courteous service with a Service +1 attitude.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive work environment at all times for our diverse team members and guests.
  • Vacuuming, changing linens and making bathrooms shine.
  • May be asked to assist in laundry/cleaning public spaces when needed.
  • Discover and respond to guest requests, inquiries, and concerns quickly and efficiently.
