About The Position

The Server performs food service functions and maintains clean and sanitary conditions in service areas, facilities, and equipment. The role serves meals to residents and guests professionally, provides timely, high-quality service, and helps create a positive dining experience. The position is part-time, with a stated schedule of 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. The work involves extended periods of standing, interaction with residents, guests, and associates, and occasional lifting and travel to different locations.

Requirements

• Must be friendly, provide excellent customer service, and consistently foster a teamwork environment.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with others and present information in one-on-one or small-group settings.
• Must be able to review detailed documents and read computer screens.
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals professionally and demonstrate genuine concern for residents and guests.
• Follow safe food-handling and sanitation practices.
• Perform assigned side work and setup and breakdown duties.
• Ensure residents and guests receive high-quality food in a timely manner.
• Maintain a positive attitude, behave professionally, and practice good personal hygiene.
• Wait on tables and assist other staff as needed.
• Handle resident concerns and complaints tactfully and professionally.
• Follow all Dining Services Standards of service.
• Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in the service area, facilities, and equipment.
