Server 10am-6pm $15-21 (Part Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a part-time Server to join our team at Hudson Grande located at 5400 Darrow Rd, Hudson, OH 44236. This role involves creating a welcoming environment for residents, preparing for meal services, maintaining cleanliness, and observing resident dining habits. We are looking for an individual who is at least sixteen years of age, can communicate effectively in English, possesses a positive and energetic attitude, and is physically capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The role also requires assisting residents with mobility and passing a criminal background check.
Requirements
- At least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Ability to assist persons after a fall.
- Criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, and roll silverware.
- Bus tables and sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed.
- Communicate when residents are absent from meals.
