About The Position
PARC Retirement Living is an award-winning developer and operator of independent senior-living communities. We’re seeking a Server for our Westerleigh PARC team in West Vancouver. The PARC dining experience is as fast-paced and service-oriented as any high-end restaurant – and our chef-prepared cuisine rivals the best, too! But PARC is also the place our residents call home. So, as you become a member of our close-knit front- and back-of-house teams, you’ll also forge close relationships with the seniors who live here. As a Server, you are a core member of our Food and Beverage team, responsible for creating an incredible dining experience for our residents and guests, fostering a warm and positive atmosphere through customer-service excellence in every interaction, serving meals with flourish according to proper food-handling procedures, providing room service, and cleaning and setting up the dining room between meals, washing dishes when needed.
Requirements
- You have restaurant or hotel serving experience, along with your Food Safe Level 1, Serving it Right and WHMIS certifications.
- You understand and respect the needs of seniors, their families, and other professional services engaged with our residents.
- A Criminal Record Check, and a TB test within the first month of employment.
