About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Part-Time Server for The Fremont Senior Living community in Springfield, Missouri. This role involves creating a welcoming environment for residents, preparing for meal services, maintaining cleanliness, and observing residents' dietary habits. The ideal candidate is at least sixteen years old, proficient in English, has a positive and energetic attitude, and is comfortable with physical demands. This position offers a starting wage of $15.00 - $22.00 per hour and a schedule of Friday/Saturday from 11:30 am to 7:30 pm.

Requirements

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
• Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping throughout the day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and assisting persons after a fall.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and foster a welcoming, engaging dining environment.
• Prepare tables for service, including prepping salads and rolling silverware.
• Bus tables and maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sweeping floors.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness staff regarding residents' dietary habits or changes in appetite, and note resident absences from meals.
