The Server position at Crown Landing (Part-Time) is responsible for maintaining current knowledge of all menu offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, presentation, and appearance. The role involves setting up assigned stations, greeting guests professionally, suggestively selling menu items, accurately recording orders, and coordinating with the kitchen for timely preparation and delivery. The server will also monitor food preparation, inspect presentation, serve food and beverages, anticipate guest needs, present accurate checks, process payments, and complete end-of-shift reports. Additionally, the position requires performing assigned side work duties and other tasks as directed by management. The general duties include promoting teamwork, promptly reporting issues, being polite and helpful to guests and colleagues, executing emergency procedures, complying with safety regulations, attending meetings and training, maintaining cleanliness, adhering to hotel standards, and recycling whenever possible.
