About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at The Castlewood Senior Living in Nixa, Missouri. This part-time position offers a starting wage of $15.00-$16.00 per hour and a shift schedule of Thursday/Friday/Saturday from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. We are looking for an individual who can be a welcoming host to residents, assist with meal preparation, maintain cleanliness in the dining area, and observe and report on resident dietary habits and appetite changes.

Requirements

Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain residents.
Foster an environment where residents can connect.
Prepare tables for service, salads for meals, and roll silverware.
Bus tables and sweep floors.
Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, or resident absences from meals.
