About The Position

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for a Server who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our Servers have the opportunity to shape our members and guests experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required.

Requirements

Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage.
Three to twelve months of restaurant, food and beverage, or equivalent experience is required.
Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States.
Ability to carry and balance a tray.
Ability to accurately read food tickets and communicate orders with the kitchen and servers.

Responsibilities

Assisting in all Club outlets when required, including the pool deck.
Greet and recognize members and guests with name usage in a professional manner.
Assist with Club Banquet event set up and break downs.
Describe the selection of food & beverage menu items to members and guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods.
Communicate member and guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen using the hotel’s point-of-sales system.
Coordinate food timings.
Check completed kitchen orders with the members or guest’s original order.
Transport items to the table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.
Anticipate members and guests needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions.
Respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
Properly and accurately close guest checks.
Process cash and credit card payments.
Properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals.
Provide accurate information to members and guests in a courteous manner.
Fill all reasonable members and guest requests or requirements.
Anticipate members and guests needs.
Respond to all interactions in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.
Use the hotel computer systems and phone system effectively.
