About The Position

Delaware North's Patina Group is hiring full-time and part-time Servers to join our team at Hundredfold American Brasserie in Elmont, New York. As a Server, you will have the privilege of representing our restaurant and creating lasting impressions through your exceptional service, making each guest feel valued and satisfied. Please note this is a tipped position; the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

Requirements

Experience in cash handling and credit card processing
No high school diploma or GED required
Must be able to lift 35 lbs, as well as walk, which may include walking up stairs, standing, and bending for long periods of time
Visual awareness and hearing sufficient to take orders and prepare checks

Nice To Haves

One year’s experience as a server in a high-volume environment
Experience with a point-of-sale system in a service or hospitality environment

Responsibilities

Greet and attend to guests’ needs, provide menus and clearly communicate restaurant specials, answer menu questions, and collect food and beverage orders
Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to all alcohol service policies and procedures
Accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale system and process payments, as well as prepare and deliver the check to guests
Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen and bar staff
Perform opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties, as assigned, and ensure all equipment and workspaces are clean, sanitized, organized, and functioning
