Server 3:30pm-7:30pm $15-21 (Part Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at Kentridge, located at 5241 Sunnybrook Road, Kent, OH 44240. This part-time position offers a pay range of $15 - $21 per hour. The Server role involves greeting residents, fostering a welcoming environment, preparing tables and meals, bussing tables, maintaining cleanliness, and observing residents' dietary habits and appetite changes. We are looking for individuals who are at least sixteen years of age, can communicate effectively in English, possess a positive and energetic attitude, and are physically capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The role also requires assisting residents with mobility and ensuring a criminally cleared background.
Requirements
- At least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Active, requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware.
- Bus tables.
- Sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed, as well as when residents are absent from meals.
