About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at The Madison Senior Living in Kansas City, Missouri. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming and engaging dining experience for our residents. As a Server, you will be responsible for greeting residents, fostering an environment for connection, preparing tables and meals, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. We are looking for an individual with a positive and energetic attitude who is passionate about serving seniors.

Requirements

Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain residents.
Foster an environment where residents can connect.
Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware.
Bus tables and sweep floors.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
Assist persons after a fall.
