Requirements

Previous restaurant serving experience.
A warm, engaging personality with a genuine passion for hospitality.
Strong food and beverage knowledge, including wine, beer, spirits, and cocktails.
Excellent suggestive selling and guest engagement skills.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
The ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
A team-first attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Current California Food Handler Card and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification, or the ability to obtain them as required by state law.

Responsibilities

Prepare the restaurant for service by completing all opening and pre-shift duties.
Welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor.
Present menus and confidently describe food, beverage, wine, beer, and cocktail selections.
Guide guests through the menu by making knowledgeable recommendations and suggestive sales.
Accurately take food and beverage orders while confirming special requests and dietary needs.
Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and anticipate guest needs.
Respond professionally to guest questions or concerns and resolve issues with care and urgency.
Work closely with the culinary and bar teams to ensure efficient, seamless service.
Process guest payments accurately and present checks in a timely manner.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked dining area while following all health and safety standards.
Support fellow team members to ensure exceptional service during every shift.
