Server 4:30pm-7:30pm $15.50-21.75 (Part Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at Westbury located at 550 Stone Valley Parkway, Columbia, MO 65203. This part-time position offers a pay range of $15.50 - $21.75 per hour. The schedule is Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. As a Server, you will be responsible for greeting residents, preparing tables and meals, bussing tables, sweeping floors, and observing residents' dietary habits and appetite changes. We are looking for someone with a positive and energetic attitude who loves our residents and is able to be active throughout the shift, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping. The role requires the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds and assist residents with mobility. Criminal clearance is required.
Requirements
- At least sixteen (16) years of age
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- Must be criminally cleared
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain
- Foster an environment where residents can connect
- Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware
- Bus tables
- Sweep floors
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed
- Communicate when residents are absent from meals
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking
- Assist persons after a fall
