About The Position

The Server welcomes guests and provides attentive service throughout their visit. The role takes orders accurately, communicates them to the kitchen, and delivers food and beverages promptly and correctly. Servers use upselling skills and confident menu recommendations to help guests make selections, promote specials and popular menu items, and invite guests to join Denny’s Rewards Program by explaining its benefits. The position also involves maintaining a clean and organized dining room, processing cash, card, and digital payments efficiently, and working collaboratively with front-of-house and back-of-house team members to ensure smooth service.

Requirements

Experience as a Server, Waiter, Waitress, FOH Staff member, or in customer service is preferred.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Confidence in upselling, menu recommendations, and guest engagement.
Basic math and cash-handling skills.
Must be 18 or older.
Flexible availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
