Server 4pm-7:30pm $15-21.50 (Part Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join their team at Crestone located at 21810 W 119th Street, Olathe, KS 66061. This part-time position involves greeting residents, fostering a welcoming dining environment, preparing tables and food items, bussing tables, sweeping floors, and observing residents' dietary habits and appetite changes. The role requires a positive and energetic attitude, the ability to communicate in English, and physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The server will also assist residents with mobility and in case of falls. The company emphasizes a home-like environment for both residents and team members, with opportunities for growth and employee appreciation.
Requirements
- At least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware.
- Understand that successful meal service requires preparation.
- Bus tables.
- Sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when residents are absent from meals.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
