Server 4pm-7:30pm $15-23 (Part Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join their team at Vitalia Strongsville. This role is responsible for greeting residents, preparing tables and meals, bussing tables, and communicating any observed changes in resident appetite or behavior to supervisors. The ideal candidate will have a positive and energetic attitude, be at least sixteen years of age, and possess strong communication skills in English. This position requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day, with the capacity to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds. The role also involves assisting residents with mobility and ensuring a safe and welcoming dining environment.
Requirements
- At least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Active; requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware.
- Bus tables and sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed, as well as when residents are absent from meals.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
