About The Position
The Server works as part of a team in an in-house fine-dining restaurant serving residents and guests. The restaurant offers made-to-order dining with fresh ingredients, fine china, and seasonal and regional menus featuring signature dishes and daily specials. The position has no late nights. Training is provided, and the server must maintain required food handler certifications.
Responsibilities
- Prepare tables, present menus, answer questions, and make suggestions about food and service.
- Stay knowledgeable about posted daily specials.
- Write food orders and relay them to the kitchen.
- Serve courses from the kitchen and service bars.
- Clear and reset counters or tables at the conclusion of each course.
- Help keep dining tables and chairs, floors, linens, and serving stations clean, bussed, and stocked.
- Maintain required food handler certifications.
