About The Position

At Sunrise Senior Living, the Server provides timely, professional meal service and creates a warm, welcoming dining experience for residents and guests in a senior living community. The role supports a hospitable environment by building positive connections and delivering excellent service each shift.

The Server takes and delivers food and beverage orders, assists residents with menu selections, maintains the dining room and bistro, and follows food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards. The position also includes assigned side work, opening and closing duties, and participation in pre-meal meetings.

Responsibilities

• Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist residents with menu selections and provide general menu descriptions.
• Bus and reset tables according to community standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized dining room and bistro.
• Complete assigned side work and opening and closing duties.
• Attend pre-meal meetings to review menu offerings.
• Use Sunrise systems for accurate order entry and meal delivery.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
• Build positive connections and provide excellent service to residents and guests.
