About The Position

At Sunrise Senior Living, a Dining Server provides timely, professional meal service while creating a warm and welcoming dining experience for residents and guests in a senior living community. The role helps cultivate a hospitable environment through positive connections and excellent service. Servers use Sunrise systems to enter orders and support meal delivery, while following food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.

Responsibilities

• Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist residents with menu selections and provide general menu descriptions.
• Bus and reset tables according to community standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized dining room and bistro.
• Complete assigned side work and opening and closing duties.
• Attend pre-meal meetings to review menu offerings.
• Use Sunrise systems for accurate order entry and meal delivery.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
• Build positive connections and deliver excellent service to residents and guests.
