About The Position

We are hiring servers for our Ani Ramen Montclair location! This role involves taking food and drink orders, entering them into the POS system, engaging with customers, making menu suggestions, ensuring order accuracy, collecting payments, maintaining a clean work environment, and providing outstanding customer service.

Requirements

Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
A positive attitude and ability work well under pressure with bussers, cooks and other staff.
Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
High school diploma.
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner.

Nice To Haves

2 years of restaurant experience.
2 years of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude.
Enter orders into POS (point of sale) for transmittal to kitchen staff.
Engage with customers in a friendly manner.
Knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions.
Ensure all orders are packed correctly with all necessary items (food, utensils, etc).
Collect payments.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Provide outstanding customer service.
