About The Position

We are looking for a Server to join our team at University Senior Living. This role involves being a welcoming host to residents, preparing tables and meals, maintaining cleanliness, and observing residents' dietary habits. The ideal candidate will be at least sixteen years old, able to communicate effectively in English, possess a positive and energetic attitude, and be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. This position also requires assisting residents with mobility and ensuring criminal clearance.

Requirements

At least sixteen (16) years of age.
Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
Ability to assist persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain residents.
Foster an environment where residents can connect.
Prepare tables for service, salads for meals, and roll silverware.
Understand that successful meal service requires preparation.
Bus tables and sweep floors.
Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits, changes in appetite, or resident absences from meals.
