About The Position
We are looking for someone to be a Host with the Most, a Peppy Prepper, a Titan of Tidiness, and an “Appetite Anthropologist.” As a Host, you will greet residents and make them feel welcome, be present in the dining room, mingle, entertain, and foster an environment where residents can connect. As a Prepper, you will prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware, understanding that a successful meal service requires preparation. As a Titan of Tidiness, you will bus tables and sweep floors, playing a crucial part in maintaining the community. As an "Appetite Anthropologist," you will communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed, as well as when residents are absent from meals.
Requirements
- At least sixteen (16) years of age
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Active, requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking
- Ability to assist persons after a fall
- Criminally cleared
