About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is hiring a Restaurant Server for the Sand Trap at Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve Puerto Rico. The Server helps create memorable guest experiences by preparing the restaurant for service, welcoming guests, guiding them through the menu, taking accurate orders, and presenting bills promptly and accurately. The role calls for an engaging, customer-focused team member who can work quickly in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with restaurant, kitchen, and bar staff.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of food service experience.
• Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Engaging and welcoming personality.
• Ability to describe and sell menu items.
• Passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the restaurant before each shift.
• Greet guests as they arrive or move about the restaurant.
• Guide guests through the culinary experience by describing menu items and selling them.
• Take orders accurately and confirm special requests.
• Learn the menu details to support guest conversations.
• Collaborate with restaurant servers and kitchen and bar staff.
• Help guests with concerns and guide them toward a satisfactory resolution.
• Present bills promptly and accurately.
