About The Position

The Overnight Server welcomes guests and provides attentive service throughout their visit. The role takes and relays orders accurately, delivers food and beverages promptly, and helps guests choose menu items through recommendations and upselling. The server also invites guests to join the Denny’s Rewards Program and explains its benefits. Additional duties include maintaining an organized dining room, processing payments, and collaborating with front-of-house and back-of-house team members to support smooth service.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Confidence in upselling, menu recommendations, and guest engagement.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Experience as a server, waiter, waitress, front-of-house staff member, or in customer service is preferred.
