Server 7am-3pm $15-22.50 (Part Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at Boulevard St Peters. This role involves greeting residents, fostering a welcoming dining environment, preparing tables and meals, bussing tables, maintaining cleanliness, and observing residents' dietary habits and appetite changes. The ideal candidate will be at least sixteen years old, possess strong English communication skills, have a positive and energetic attitude, be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds, and be able to assist residents with mobility and in case of falls. Criminal clearance is required.
Requirements
- At least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Ability to assist persons after a fall.
- Criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, and roll silverware.
- Bus tables.
- Sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when residents are absent from meals.
