About The Position

The Server maintains effective communication with guests and fellow team members by answering questions, making suggestions about food and beverage service, recording orders, requesting identification when a guest’s legal age is questionable, relaying food orders to the kitchen and beverage orders to the bartender, answering the phone properly, and demonstrating working knowledge of the Resort and Food & Beverage Department. The position serves food and beverages according to standard operating procedures, maintains sanitation and cleanliness, performs cashiering tasks, and helps ensure guest orders and requests are fulfilled. Servers may deliver orders using resort vehicles and perform side duties assigned by their trainer. The job requires carrying trays weighing up to 10 pounds throughout the dining area, including on stairs, and working outdoors in hot or cold temperatures.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Self-motivated to accomplish goals, with a strong sense of responsibility.
Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail.
Must be able to work outside in cold or hot temperatures.

Responsibilities

Serve food and beverages to guests according to standard operating procedures.
Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene in the work area.
Perform cashiering tasks according to established standards.
Carry food and beverage trays weighing up to 10 pounds throughout the dining area, including up and down stairs.
Maintain cleanliness in various restaurant areas to ensure guest satisfaction.
Review standard food presentation, service, and operating procedures.
Ensure guest orders and related requests are carried out, and address reports or complaints.
Drive resort vehicles for delivery orders.
Handle side duties assigned by the trainer.
Communicate effectively with guests and team members, including answering questions, making food and beverage suggestions, recording orders, checking identification when needed, relaying orders, answering the phone, and demonstrating knowledge of the Resort and Food & Beverage Department.
