About The Position

Denny’s is hiring a Server in Roanoke to welcome guests and provide attentive service throughout their visit. The role includes accurately taking orders and communicating them to the kitchen, promptly delivering food and beverages, and helping guests choose menu items through recommendations and upselling. Servers also introduce guests to the Denny’s Rewards Program, maintain an organized dining room, process payments, and collaborate with front- and back-of-house team members to support smooth service.

Requirements

Experience as a server, waiter, waitress, front-of-house staff member, or in customer service is preferred.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Confidence in upselling, menu recommendations, and guest engagement.
Basic math and cash-handling skills.
Must be 18 or older.
Flexible availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
