About The Position
Arrow Senior Living manages a collection of senior living communities that offer varying levels of care including independent living, assisted living, and memory care in 25 properties currently in 5 states (Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana) and employs nearly 1,400 employees! We are looking for someone to be a Host with the Most, a Peppy Prepper, and a Titan of Tidiness. This role requires a positive and energetic attitude, the ability to communicate in English, and physical capability for standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The position also involves assisting residents with mobility and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
Requirements
- At least sixteen (16) years of age
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- Criminally cleared
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain
- Foster an environment where residents can connect
- Prep tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware
- Buss tables
- Sweep floors
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking
- Assist persons after a fall
