About The Position

Denny's is looking for enthusiastic Servers to join their Front of House (FOH) team. As a Server, you will be responsible for welcoming guests, providing attentive service, taking accurate orders, and ensuring a positive dining experience. This role involves interacting with guests, making menu recommendations, processing payments, and collaborating with the kitchen and service staff to maintain smooth operations. You will also play a key role in promoting the Denny’s Rewards Program to enhance guest value and loyalty.

Requirements

• Experience as a Server, Waiter, Waitress, FOH Staff, or in customer service preferred
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Confidence in upselling, menu recommendations, and guest engagement
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Must be 18+
• Flexible availability — nights, weekends, holidays

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide attentive service throughout their visit
• Take orders accurately and relay them clearly to the kitchen
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and correctly
• Use upselling skills to recommend specials, combos, and popular menu items
• Ask guiding questions to help guests make selections
• Offer confident menu recommendations based on guest preferences
• Invite guests to join the Denny’s Rewards Program, explaining its benefits
• Maintain a clean, organized dining room
• Process payments efficiently (cash, card, digital)
• Work collaboratively with FOH and BOH team members to ensure smooth service
