About The Position

The Carriages of Rochester is growing its team and is looking for individuals with a passion for serving older adults. They are seeking a hard-working, dedicated Server for their Senior Living Community. The community prides itself on having a great team to work alongside and with its amazing residents, who are appreciative of the detail shown in providing quality care and great food options in a Restaurant Style Dining environment. The Dining Services Team is led by a dedicated director who invests time in the dining staff. They are looking to add a new member to the team for shifts Monday through Friday, 6 AM-2:30 PM.

Requirements

A strong desire to help others and compassion for the elderly is a must.
This job requires a high school diploma
At least 1 year of experience
A full criminal background check, fingerprinting, physical, drug test, and TB testing are mandatory.

Responsibilities

Prepare food items and serve food to Residents within scheduled time frame.
Follow menu cycle, noting changes or substitutions made.
Maintain cleanliness of food service areas, including kitchen and dining room.
Maintain the quality of food served, quantity prepared and sanitation of food preparation area.
Maintain clean, neat and safe working environment.
Assure that Resident food needs and preferences are known.
Assure that staff, Resident and guest meals are accounted for daily.
Maintain meal service records as required.
Observe problems, concerns, issues observed with food service and communicates them appropriately.
Observe changes in Resident status, needs or preferences and communicate them appropriately.
Observe and adhere to all work, safety and administrative rules as well as all established policies and procedures.
