About The Position

Bring great food and genuine hospitality to seniors who deserve it. Alto Overland Park is looking for a friendly, dependable Full-Time Server to join our Dining Services team. If you take pride in great service and enjoy creating a warm, welcoming dining experience, this could be the perfect fit for you. The primary responsibility of the Server is to accommodate residents and guests during their dining experience by attending to their needs in a friendly, timely, and professional manner.

Requirements

• Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
• Must pay attention to detail
• Must be flexible/adaptable
• Must have safety awareness
• Must be a team player
• Must have positive Criminal Background Screening
• Adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in Senior Living or the restaurant industry
• Food serving experience

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, friendly table service to residents and guests
• Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and with a smile
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment
• Build genuine relationships with residents, learning their preferences and making mealtime special
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and dining team to ensure smooth service
• Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely and professional manner
• Approach and interact with residents and guests in a friendly, service-oriented, and professional manner
• Serve food in an efficient and professional manner
• Clear tables of glasses, silverware, dishes, etc. when residents and guests have finished a course or their meal according to Company protocol
• Maintain a clean dining room. Chairs, windows, floors, and all work areas should be wiped down and sanitized after every meal period
• Deliver and retrieve trays to and from residents’ apartments as needed
• Label and date all food
• Other job duties as assigned
