About The Position
We are looking for a highly motivated, customer focused Restaurant Server to join our team! Servers are the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences. Food server responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus and serving food and beverages. This individual will need to be quick on your feet and have an engaging attitude. If making meaningful connections, figuring out what it takes and stepping it up to win the day is what you do, and you love it, we want you! Requirements
- Strong guest-service and communication skills.
- Ability to navigate guestroom areas efficiently while protecting guest privacy.
Nice To Haves
- Previous restaurant, room service, or hospitality experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review each order for accuracy before leaving the In-Room Dining area.
- Ensure all food, beverages, condiments, silverware, glassware, and requested accompaniments are included.
- Verify guest name, room number, order details, and special instructions.
- Maintain appropriate food temperatures during transportation.
- Deliver orders within established service expectations.
- Announce arrival and enter guestrooms only in accordance with resort security and guest-privacy procedures.
- Professionally set up the meal in the guestroom or designated area.
- Explain the order and identify items when appropriate.
- Obtain required signatures or process payment according to established procedures.
- Maintain guest confidentiality and never disclose room numbers or guest information.
- Follow established procedures for guestroom access and Do Not Disturb situations.
- Follow up on guest satisfaction when required.
- Retrieve trays, tables, and service equipment according to established procedures.
- Maintain corridors and public areas free of abandoned In-Room Dining equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery equipment and service areas.
- Communicate delays, guest concerns, and service-recovery needs promptly.
- Assist restaurant operations or other appropriate Food & Beverage areas based on business needs and training.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
