About The Position

Denny's is looking for Superstar Servers to join their Front of House (FOH) team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing attentive service to guests, taking orders accurately, delivering food and beverages, and utilizing upselling skills to recommend specials and popular menu items. You will also guide guests in making selections, promote the Denny’s Rewards Program, maintain a clean dining area, process payments efficiently, and collaborate with both FOH and Back of House (BOH) team members to ensure smooth service.

Requirements

• Experience as a Server, Waiter, Waitress, FOH Staff, or in customer service preferred
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Confidence in upselling, menu recommendations, and guest engagement
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Must be 18+
• Flexible availability — nights, weekends, holidays

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide attentive service throughout their visit
• Take orders accurately and relay them clearly to the kitchen
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and correctly
• Use upselling skills to recommend specials, combos, and popular menu items
• Ask guiding questions to help guests make selections
• Offer confident menu recommendations based on guest preferences

• Maintain a clean, organized dining room
