About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at Vitalia Highland Heights. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for residents, preparing the dining area for service, maintaining cleanliness, and observing residents' dietary habits. Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, and roll silverware.
- Bus tables and sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when residents are absent from meals.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
