About The Position

Join the Iron Skillet Restaurant inside Kenly 95 Petro as a Part-Time Server and become part of a high-volume team serving travelers, professional drivers, and local guests. You'll provide friendly, attentive table service while taking orders, recommending menu items, maintaining your section, and creating a great dining experience. This is an on-site position with flexible scheduling, offering competitive server pay plus tips, with the potential to earn more during busy shifts. We are looking for experienced, energetic servers who can stay organized, friendly, and focused during busy meal periods.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience serving in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment.
Friendly, professional, and committed to excellent hospitality.
Comfortable recommending menu items and increasing guest check averages.
Able to work smoothly with front-of-house and kitchen teams.
Punctual, dependable, and able to work assigned shifts.
Comfortable standing, walking, carrying trays, and staying active throughout the shift.
Must have dependable transportation to and from work.
Must have a valid food handler certificate or be willing to obtain one.

Nice To Haves

Previous serving experience is preferred.
High-volume restaurant experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and guide them through the dining experience.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them correctly.
Check on guests throughout their meal and respond to requests professionally.
Recommend appetizers, beverages, desserts, and other menu items to enhance the guest experience.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked service section.
Complete side work efficiently and support the front-of-house team during busy periods.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
Communicate effectively with guests, servers, kitchen staff, and management.
