About The Position

Responsible for providing service that exhibits professionalism, attention to detail and desire to create a welcoming environment. Responsible for taking food and drink orders from guests, and then delivering those orders to the proper guests. Responsible for ensuring that the guests’ visit exceeds their expectations while ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations of FL state, maintaining current state food handlers certificate. Responsible for upholding the company standards and enforcing company policies, procedures and practices.

Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
• Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
• Must have working ability with POS systems (Point of Sale)
• Must have working ability handling cash
• Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the hotel/resort property 100% of assigned shift
• Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations
